Elisabeth Bridge

Elisabeth Bridge is the third newest bridge of Budapest, Hungary, connecting Buda and Pestacross the River Danube. The bridge is situated at the narrowest part of the Danube in the Budapest area, its length is only 290 meters. It is named after Queen Elisabeth, a popular queen and empress of Austria-Hungary. Today, her large bronze statue sits by the bridge's Buda side connection in the middle of a small garden.

Elizabeth Bridge was named after Queen Elizabeth, the spouse of Francis Joseph I assassinated in Geneva in 1898.

The international design competition for its construction was launched 1894 together with that of the present Liberty Bridge (originally called the Franz Joseph Bridge).
In total, there were 74 design concepts coming in for the two bridges, 53 of which concerned the Elizabeth Bridge.

Curiosity:

-The construction of the bridge was started in 1897 to the plans of Aurél Czekelius and Antal Kherndl. At that time, it was considered a most up-to-date solution to place the pillars supporting the portal of the bridge onto the river bank instead of the river bed. Thus the middle span of the bridge amounted to 290 meters, making the old Elizabeth Bridge the public bridge with the largest span in the world for 23 years.

Little about Hungary

From this map you can see that Hungary is situated in the middle of Central Europe and Hungary has no access to the sea but they have access to a great lake which is called "Lake Balaton" from my previous post.

The capital is also the largest city in the country and it is also the 6th largest city in the European Union which is Budapest.

It could be an beautiful city to visit while we are there and also sightseeing other monuments.

The city is crossed by the River Danube, one of the largest and most famous in Europe.
The river is known to be part of the city's history and several European countries, besides being an important commercial axis.

Lake Balaton

Lake Balaton is a lake located in Hungary and and is the biggest in Central and Western Europe, with an area of 592 square miles.

Its length is 77 km and its width varies from 4 to 14 km. The lake surface lies 104 m above sea level and its depth reaches 11 m (average depth 3.2 m).

Since Hungary is landlocked, Lake Balaton is sometimes called the "Hungarian Sea". The Zala River provides the largest amount of water to the lake and canal Sió provides outflow of water when needed.

This place could be one of the greatest local sites to visit while we are in Hungarian territories well maybe if we had the time cause the lake is pretty big.

And in this next image you can see the lake crossing through one of the cities of Hungary:

The RXT-X 260 RS contains Sea-Doo’s most powerful engine package, a 1,494cc Rotax triple with multi-port fuel injection coupled to a supercharger and intercooler that promise to ram it full of cool air. That makes it plenty fast (the speedo electronically limits the boat to 65-67 mph). Old-school fans of the former lightweight RXT-X models will note the new designs are significantly heavier, but the aS 260 gets out of the hole with authority and falls right in line with the competition.

Faro Beach

As you can see on this picture this is the island where "Faro beach" is located from my previous post where it shows the jetski riding.

From the picture you can perfectly see that the weather is sunny and you could imagine the temperature that this beach can get to... let me give you a hint... It can get almost to 37 Cº or even more this year, so i would advise you to put a lot of sun cream, you are going to need it!

We have lots of beaches in Portugal but most of the beaches that are most pleasurable are from Algarve, we have several beaches in Vilamoura but i like the most in there is called Falésia, there is also the beaches of Portimão and Olhão and much more.

We have some signals to look out for when we are at the beach and the first you should see before leaving the house is to see the temperature for your skin not be burned and then at the beach you see 3 flags at the beach that means the state that the sea is at.

1-Green Flag means that the sea is calm but sometimes it doesn't mean its safe cause there is always a strong current.

2-Yellow Flag the sea is rougher and its advised not swim and to take a bathe carefully.

3-Red Flag means the sea is a lot rougher than the other flags and it is advised no to go to the water for the sea can take you away from its waves and currents.

4-This flag is not in use about the sea but to warn people that the lifeguard is not at the beach and that the beach is not looked out from any security, this flag is based on a form of the game of chess and could be in various colors.
And for my last tip for the beaches is this:
Always put sunscreen for your skins or you will be burned! Lol.

Sweet Beach

My favorite place in the Algarve are the beaches mainly because of the temperature of the sea and always good weather in the summer and to catch a good tan o ra nice burn for those who do not care to use sunscreen.

In my opinion the best beach in the Algarve is Faro which is known as "Faro Beach" which is located next to the Desert Island. On this beach there is a place where the river meets the sea waves are thus resulting in good time for people who want to "Bodyboard"or "Surf" and also where people go jetting around on a water well jumping and falling the bike and maybe get hurt xD.

I have here a fine example with a video where they were 4 people including myself and a person who is also participating in this project named André Miguel Vilão Pica on the beach of Faro where you can clearly see a good weather, this video is only video with the driving of Andre Pica on the water bike and none of the other guys filmed me of driving it because they were jealous of my "skill" xD and also was the only video that was less than 100 Mb to put here.

I hoped you enjoyed the video.
